Pacific  born Sept 25, 2003
-Dalnomer - Pleasure - Enrico Caruso -
RPSI recorded Book II,
AWR approved - first premium
black Trakehner stallion, standing 15.3hh.
Pacific is a compact and agile stallion.  Very strong over the topline and through the hind end with an excellent neck and shoulder.  He has 3 excellent gaits for dressage and shows a large amount of talent for the collective gaits. Pacific has a great amount of swing over his back with natural rythym. He is also extremely supple and elastic.  His technique over fences is excellent and shows very good neatness with the front and the hind legs as well as a very good bascule.
Pacific has begun showing in dressage with very good results, scoring 7's and 8's on his gaits.  He is a very easy stallion to handle and ride, and is owned/trained and ridden by an amateur.
He is a talented, versatile stallion with a happy, friendly demeanor which makes him a very good choice for producing amateur friendly offspring.  Other registry approval applications are in place for  CWHBA, and the CTHS.  ATA registration pending at this time.
Although Pacific is not a tall stallion himself, he is adding height, improvement in shoulder/neck  and topline, and is adding modern type in his foals.  His foals are all easy to handle like their sire.

PEDIGREE ANALYSIS
(PACIFIC HAS THESE INFLUENTIAL STALLIONS IN HIS PEDIGREE)

DIAPAZON Elite stallion with 35 offspring on record.  Stood at the Starozhilovo stud farm in Russia.

PILIGRIM-   Elite stallion status.  Piligrim was a foundation stallion for the Trakehner breed.  He sired                          the Olympic dressage champion Pepel, who was ridden by Elena Petrushkova of Russia.

PYTHAGORAS - Elite stallion status.  Sired by Dampfroß out of Pechmarie by Tempelhüter. Chief sire 1933-1944, he was combining the blood of the two "Century Sires" Dampfross and Tempelhüter, Pythagoras was Trakehnen's leading sire prior to WWII. His son Totilas and daughter Tapete were instrumental in revitalizing the breed after the war. His influence even today is still strong through his sons Guido, Creon and Eifel. Guido leads to EH Marduc, EH Anduc, EH Hyllos and Solero TSF; Creon stands for Komet and thus Doruto (KWPN), Gunnar, Herzbube, EH Leonardo and EH Argument; and Eifel became a foundation stallion in Russia with stallions like Waitaki and Abrek. Pythagoras' daughters Hansastadt, Isola Madre and Alraune were of importance for establishing strong dam lines, and in addition to the above mentioned stallions, his sons Keith, Markwart, Sporn, Suomar and Pilgrim made sure the line stands on a strong foundation.

HUNNENKOENIG -   a very popular stallion used in foundation of Trakehner.  He was of elite status and stood in Poland.

ENRICO CARUSO - 1978 - 2005 Trakehner stallion Approved by The German Trakehner Verband, The American Trakehner Association,Oldenburg and ISR
Premium Stallion at the Korung, Reserve Champion at his 100 day testing.
Successful in upperlevel dressage. Enrico Caruso was one of the best stallions the Trakehner breed has had. You will find him in the pedigrees of many successful horses, and he left his mark behind, maybe more so in Germany than in the U.S. He was found to have an extreemly gentle character & was very athletic. He produced many good riding horses. His best & most famous son, Kostolany (out of Kapstadt by Falke) (bred & owned by Otto Langels) has followed in his sire's footsteps by also siring many successful sporthorses & in excess of 9 approved sons, most of them Trakehners. Enrico's gray son Trocadero (o/o Thirza by Karon) was graded premium and champion of his approval & sold for 300,000 DM at the Klosterhof-Medingen Auction. He now stands at Sian Read's Bluewood Stud in England. He also left 5 approved sons in the U.S. and he produced jumpers as well as dressage horses. The most famous of his daughters was Schwalbenlust out of Elite Schwalbenburg by Ibikus who once reigned the Stud at Haemelschenburg. She aslo passed away not long ago but left her crown behind for her beautiful daughter Schwalbenspiel by Exclusiv, the dam of the approved Shavalou.
Enrico Caruso stood at Tylord Farm after his importation to the U.S

MAHAGONI  champion of the stallion performance test in Germany, Mahagoni was a top producer of stallions.  Among these he  produced the famous Enrico Caruso, Mahagoni also brought us the Olympic bronze medallist in dressage, Peron ridden by Michelle Gibson of the USA.

PASTEUR
Pasteur stood at stud in Rheinland Germany until 1985.  His offspring won in excess of DM 219,087 in competition.  Pasteur was a natural good mover with the outline and suitability for upper level dressage.   His offspring were well noted for their dressage abilities as well as their very easy going temperments.  Among his approved sons Pasteur brought us Kant, Falkner, Testerossa, Michaelangelo, Mahagoni and Marlon.
